Nuala NÍ Chonláin
Nuala is an education graduate of the prestigious MIC, Limerick, Ireland, which has a reputation for providing superior teacher education. Nuala is a passionate early childhood specialist with a strong play-based philosophy. She has over twenty-seven years of classroom teaching and leadership experience spanning early years and primary provision on a national and international scale. She is knowledgeable about inclusive and multi-age groups as well as intercultural and anti-bias education. She is a skilled leader and served as a member of a teaching team that handled early childhood learning environments. Learning about various educational philosophies enables educators to consider the implications of what and how they teach. Nuala believes that teachers need to be lifelong learners in order to give our children the greatest educational opportunities possible.
Nuala is a dedicated professional who has built and taught energising courses that are complete, well-balanced, and meet the needs of all learners and stakeholders. She is an accomplished teacher trainer who has developed early childhood and primary school curricula and textbooks for use in China, the Middle East, and Ireland. She demonstrates creative and effective pedagogical abilities by fusing subject-specific teaching strategies with modules on modern education. She coaches, supports, and gives professional development to teachers, teaching assistants, and middle leaders all over the world so they may provide excellence in their classrooms.
Nuala is currently working as an education consultant with clients worldwide. Nuala's many interests include music, art, drama, gardening, and baking.
