Dr Bryn James

Dr Bryn James has worked in the BASIS China International Schools network for six years, taking leadership roles in two school foundings, and currently serving as Head of High School at BASIS International School Hangzhou.

During his tenure with BASIS China, Dr James has supported and led on a range of EdTech initiates including: founding member of the network wide ICT Committee; network lead implementor of TEAMS integration in 2020 in response to COVID-19; school lead on Apple School accreditation; as well as innovating a range of online training options for staff which contributed to a 26% increase in staff satisfaction surveys relating to PD.

Prior teaching internationally, Dr James worked in London with the Researchers in Schools network where he was a Research Associate at King’s College London’s Department of Education.
